Mike Rigg Interview

When Mark Hughes became Manchester City manager in 2008, he appointed Mike Rigg as his technical director, a role that was being created at the club. At the time, Premier League scouting networks were still fairly new - and it was Rigg's responsibility to make sure that the players who were being put forward to join the club were the right fit, both on the pitch and off it. In 2020, the Blue Moon Podcast's David Mooney spoke to him about the role - including how it changed when Hughes was sacked and Roberto Mancini came into the dugout instead.
